Columbia Icefield

The Columbia Icefield is the largest icefield in the Canadian Rockies, on the border of Banff and Jasper national parks in Alberta and British Columbia. Several outlet glaciers descend from it, including the Athabasca Glacier. Visitors drive the nearby Icefields Parkway, walk to glacier viewpoints and join guided ice walks.
