Terms of Service

The service
Sipatra is an outdoor social network: you can record GPS activities, share routes, photos and stories, follow other people, and discover outdoor places. These terms are an agreement between you and Sipatra governing your use of the apps and the API.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sipatra. If your local law sets a higher age for consenting to data processing, that higher age applies.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. By sharing content on Sipatra you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute that content within the service, only as needed to operate it and only for as long as you keep it on Sipatra. You are responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to share it.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, hate speech or threats against other users.
- Publishing fake locations, spam activities or manipulated tracks.
- Revealing another person's precise location, home or private places without their consent.
- Attempting to access other users' private data or to disrupt the service.
Moderation and suspension
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
Disclaimer and liability
Sipatra is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Outdoor activity carries inherent risk: route data and place information are community-contributed and may be inaccurate — always use your own judgement in the field. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is zero.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use Sipatra after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
