Delete Your Account

Delete from the app

Open Sipatra and go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. You will be asked to confirm with your password.

Delete without the app

If you can no longer access the app, email [email protected] from the address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request against your account email and process it within the statutory deadlines.

What happens to your data

Deletion starts a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel by signing back in. After that, your profile is anonymised and your GPS tracks, photos, stories, posts and messages are permanently deleted. Records we are legally required to keep (for example moderation evidence) are retained only for their statutory period. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Delete some of your data without deleting the account

You can delete individual activities, posts, photos, stories and messages directly in the app; server copies are removed as well. Withdrawing location consent in Settings → Privacy stops recording and deletes your previously recorded GPS tracks. To request deletion of specific data without using the app, email [email protected] and tell us what to remove.
