Dallol
Dallol is a volcanic crater in the Danakil Depression of northern Ethiopia, about 91 m below sea level. Hot springs, salt crusts and sulfur deposits color its ground in yellow, green and orange. It is one of the hottest and most remote places on Earth, and visitors come on organized tours across the salt flats from Mekele.
