Djerba
Djerba is an island off the southeastern coast of Tunisia, in the Gulf of Gabès, linked to the mainland by a causeway and a ferry. The terrain is flat, with palm groves, white-walled villages and long sandy beaches. People cycle between villages, swim and visit its old markets and synagogue.
