Kadisha Valley

The Kadisha Valley is a deep gorge in northern Lebanon, running down from the cedar forest toward the Mediterranean, where the Kadisha River cuts through the mountain. Cliffs and caves hold old monasteries and hermitages, and the valley is a World Heritage site. Hikers walk the paths between villages, chapels and viewpoints.
