Lake Bafa

Lake Bafa is a coastal lake in the Aegean region of Turkey, between Aydın and Muğla provinces, at about 5 m. It was once a bay of the sea, and the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Herakleia lie on its shore under Mount Latmos. Walkers and climbers explore the rocky hills and old monasteries.
