Lake Tanganyika
Lake Tanganyika is a long, narrow rift lake in Central Africa, bordered by Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi and Zambia. Its surface lies at 773 m, and it is among the deepest lakes in the world. Visitors swim, snorkel and take boat trips along forested shores.
