Matanuska Glacier
The Matanuska Glacier is a large valley glacier in southcentral Alaska, northeast of Anchorage, reachable by road along the Glenn Highway. A wide ice tongue lies in a valley below the Chugach Mountains. Visitors take guided walks and ice-climbing outings on the glacier surface.
