Matka Canyon
Matka Canyon is a canyon on the Treska River just west of Skopje in North Macedonia. Steep wooded slopes frame an artificial lake, and old monasteries stand along the shore. Visitors paddle on the water, hike nearby trails and explore caves in the walls.
