Milford Sound / Piopiotahi

Milford Sound, or Piopiotahi, is a fiord in Fiordland National Park on the southwest coast of New Zealand's South Island. Steep rock walls rise from the water, and Mitre Peak and waterfalls are the main sights. Visitors travel by road and take boat cruises or sea kayaks, and the Milford Track ends here.
