Monfragüe National Park
Monfragüe National Park in Extremadura, Spain, covers Mediterranean woodland and rocky hills on both sides of the Tagus River. It is one of the best places in Europe to watch raptors, with Spanish imperial eagles, griffon vultures and black storks. Visitors walk trails and use viewpoints, such as the Salto del Gitano.
