Mount Apo

Mount Apo is a volcano of 2,954 m on Mindanao in the Philippines and the highest mountain in the country. It lies near the city of Davao and is protected within a natural park. Trekkers climb through rainforest and past solfataras to the summit area, and the habitat shelters the Philippine eagle.
