Mount Tendürek

Mount Tendürek is a shield volcano of 3,533 m in eastern Turkey, close to the Iranian border, on the edge of the Ağrı and Van provinces. It has a broad summit crater and fields of lava. The area is a high plateau of rough pasture and nomadic summer camps, and walkers can climb the gentle upper slopes.
