Pamukkale
Pamukkale is a site of white travertine terraces and thermal pools in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. Warm, mineral-rich water has deposited calcium on the hillside over thousands of years. Visitors walk barefoot along the terraces, bathe in thermal water and explore the ruins of Hierapolis at the top.
