Phou Bia

Phou Bia is the highest mountain in Laos, at about 2,819 m, rising in Xiangkhouang Province in the north of the country. Its forested slopes lie within a protected area. The mountain is remote, with few visitors, and treks to it pass through villages of upland communities.
