Sequoia National Park
Sequoia National Park in California's southern Sierra Nevada is home to groves of giant sequoias, the largest trees on Earth by volume, including the General Sherman Tree. The park also has granite peaks, deep canyons and caves. Hikers and backpackers use its trails, and Mount Whitney lies close by.
