Sultans Trail
The Sultans Trail is a long-distance walking route from Vienna in Austria to Istanbul in Turkey, following the historical paths used by Ottoman armies and travellers. It crosses Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey, passing through towns, villages and countryside. Walkers follow it in stages, with local lodging along the way.
