Taurus mountains

The Taurus Mountains form a long arc along the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey. Their highest summit, Demirkazık in the Aladağlar, reaches about 3,756 m. Limestone peaks, canyons and highland plateaus offer hiking, climbing and canyoning, and the Lycian Way crosses the western part of the range near the sea.
