The Palisades

The Palisades are steep cliffs of rock along the west side of the lower Hudson River, in New Jersey and New York in the United States. The cliffs face the river opposite the city of New York. Much of the land forms a park with hiking trails along the base and the top, and the cliffs are used for climbing.
