Tongass National Forest

Tongass National Forest is the largest national forest in the United States, covering much of Southeast Alaska and its islands. Temperate rainforest, fjords and glaciers make up the landscape. People hike, kayak the coastal waters, fish and watch bears and eagles, and many travel through it by boat.
