Triglav

Triglav, at about 2,864 m, is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the centrepiece of Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps. Its three-headed outline appears on the Slovenian flag and coat of arms. Many climbers aim for the summit via marked routes with cables, starting from valleys such as Vrata or Krma, and staying in mountain huts.
