Vanoise National Park
Vanoise National Park in the French Alps was France's first national park, set between the Tarentaise and Maurienne valleys. It has glaciers, high lakes and alpine meadows, and shelters ibex and chamois. Hikers follow multi-day circuits through a network of mountain huts.
