The Venta Rapid is a very wide, low waterfall on the Venta River in Kuldīga, western Latvia, about 249 to 270 meters across and only 1.8 to 2.2 meters high. It is the widest waterfall in Europe. A historic brick bridge crosses the river beside it, and the old town of Kuldīga has riverside walks.
