Vihren
Vihren is the highest peak of the Pirin Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria, at 2,914 m. Its limestone summit is a pyramid of grey marble above cirques and glacial lakes. Hikers set out from the town of Bansko or the Vihren hut, inside Pirin National Park.
