Agua Azul

Agua Azul is a chain of cascades and pools on the Tulijá River in Chiapas, southern Mexico, near the Maya ruins of Palenque. Dissolved limestone gives the water a strong blue-turquoise color. Footpaths run along the cascades through tropical forest, with viewpoints and a roadside entrance, and the area is part of a protected reserve.
