Alpamayo
Alpamayo is a pyramid-shaped snow and ice peak in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru, rising to 5,947 m. Its sharp fluted faces have made it a frequent entry in lists of the most beautiful mountains. Climbers and trekkers approach it through the Santa Cruz valley in Huascarán National Park.
