Argentière Glacier
The Argentière Glacier is a glacier on the Mont Blanc massif in the French Alps, above the village of Argentière near Chamonix. It lies in a high basin surrounded by sharp granite peaks. Hikers walk up to viewpoints and mountain huts, and alpinists use it on routes to the surrounding summits.
