Bastei
The Bastei is a rock formation of about 288 m rising above the Elbe river in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Saxony, Germany, within Saxon Switzerland National Park. A stone bridge links its pillars. Hikers and climbers visit for the sandstone towers and the river views, and trails lead from nearby villages through the forested gorges.
