Šumava National Park
Šumava National Park in southwestern Czechia lies along the Bavarian border, adjoining the Bavarian Forest National Park. It is a wide, wooded mountain range with peat bogs, glacial lakes and old-growth forest. Walkers, cyclists and cross-country skiers use a network of marked routes.
