Cennet and Cehennem
Cennet and Cehennem are two large sinkholes near Silifke in Mersin Province, Turkey, set in the limestone landscape of the Taurus coast. Cennet, the Heaven sinkhole, is reached by a long staircase down to a cave, while the Hell sinkhole is a vast, steep-sided pit. Visitors walk the steps and the paths around the rim.
