Cho Oyu

Cho Oyu, at 8,188 m, is the sixth-highest mountain in the world, on the border of Nepal and China, west of Everest. Its broad, gentler slopes make it one of the more approachable 8,000 m peaks. Expeditions usually climb from the Tibetan side, and the Nangpa La pass lies nearby.
