Kala Patthar

Kala Patthar is a rocky ridge on the south slope of Pumori in the Nepalese Himalayas, at 5,645 m. It is not a technical climb but a famous viewpoint, with close views of Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse. Trekkers on the Everest Base Camp route walk up to it from Gorak Shep.
