Deosai National Park
Deosai National Park in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, is a high plateau at the foot of the Himalaya and Karakoram, with open grassland and meadows of wildflowers. It is known as one of the highest plateaus in the world and as a refuge of the Himalayan brown bear. Visitors drive up from Skardu, camp by Sheosar Lake and walk.
