Gornergrat
The Gornergrat is a ridge at 3,135 m above Zermatt in the Valais Alps, Switzerland, facing the Matterhorn. A cog railway runs up from the village to a station on the crest. Around it lie views of the Gorner Glacier and many 4,000 m peaks, and hikers use the ridge and nearby trails for walks above the valley.
