Gullfoss
Gullfoss is a two-step waterfall on the Hvítá river in southwest Iceland, part of the Golden Circle route. The river drops into a deep, narrow canyon, throwing up spray in all directions. Paths run beside the upper fall and along the rim of the gorge, and the falls are an easy stop on a day trip from Reykjavík.
