Hirkan National Park
Hirkan National Park in southern Azerbaijan, near the Iranian border, protects the relict Hyrcanian forest, a very old lowland and foothill forest type found around the southern Caspian Sea. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors walk forest trails and look for deer and birds.
