Jostedal Glacier
Jostedalsbreen is the largest glacier in continental Europe, a wide ice cap in western Norway with many outlet arms. Several glacier tongues reach down into valleys, with a national park surrounding it. Visitors take guided glacier walks and hikes to the ice edges, and some join ski tours on the plateau.
