Karakoram Pass

Karakoram Pass lies at 5,540 m in the Karakoram range, near the border of Ladakh in India and Xinjiang in China. It was once a major link on the trade route between the Indian subcontinent and Central Asia. Today it is remote and reached only by very long high-altitude treks.
