Siachen Glacier
The Siachen Glacier is one of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions, in the eastern Karakoram range of the Himalaya, in the disputed Kashmir region. It lies between high ridges and is very remote. The area is a military zone, and access for civilians is very limited.
