Köroğlu Mountains

The Köroğlu Mountains are a range in northern Turkey, in the western Black Sea region, with a highest point of 2,499 m. They are covered by forest and high pasture, and the name comes from a folk hero of Turkish tradition. Highland plateaus and winter sports areas such as Kartalkaya are found in the area.
