Acarlar Floodplain Forest
The Acarlar Floodplain Forest is a wetland forest near Sakarya in northwestern Turkey, where trees grow in standing water that rises in some months. Ash, alder and vines form a dense, jungle-like cover, and many birds live here. Visitors walk and cycle along marked paths and use viewing points.
