Lake Beyşehir

Lake Beyşehir is the largest freshwater lake in Turkey, in the Lakes region of Konya province, at 1,115 m, with mountains on its sides. It lies partly in the Beyşehir Gölü National Park, and a few small islands rise from it. People fish, take boat trips and visit the Eşrefoğlu Mosque in the town.
