Lake Eğirdir

Lake Eğirdir is a large freshwater lake in the Lakes region of Isparta province in southwestern Turkey, at 917 m, with mountains around it. The old town of Eğirdir stands on a peninsula with a castle. People swim, windsurf and take boat trips, and hike in the surrounding mountains and on the old stone roads.
