Lake Lucerne
Lake Lucerne is a winding, many-armed lake in central Switzerland, at 434 m, surrounded by steep mountains such as Pilatus and the Rigi. The old city of Lucerne lies at its western end. Visitors ride historic paddle steamers, hike on the surrounding mountains and walk lakeside paths.
