Mount Pilatus is a mountain massif of about 2,128 m above Lake Lucerne in central Switzerland. A cogwheel railway and aerial cableways take visitors to the top, and hiking trails cross its summit ridge. Legends of dragons are tied to the mountain, and it gives wide views over the lake and the Swiss Alps.
