Misti
Misti is a symmetrical stratovolcano of 5,825 m rising above the city of Arequipa in southern Peru. Its snow-dusted cone is the main backdrop of the city, with the peaks of Chachani and Pichu Pichu beside it. Climbers go up from Arequipa over a couple of days on routes that cross dry desert slopes.
