Vinicunca
Vinicunca, often called Rainbow Mountain, is a ridge in the Andes of the Cusco region, Peru, reaching 5,036 m. Its striped slopes get their red, yellow and green bands from exposed mineral layers. Trekkers walk to it from nearby highland villages on a high-altitude route among alpaca pastures and snow peaks.
