Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve
The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is a protected cloud forest in the Tilarán Mountains of Costa Rica, at about 1,534 m. Mist and moss cover the trees, and the forest supports many birds and orchids. Visitors walk marked trails, cross hanging bridges and look for wildlife, often with a guide.
