Mount Etna

Mount Etna is an active stratovolcano of 3,357 m on the east coast of Sicily, Italy, and one of the largest volcanoes in Europe. Its slopes hold lava fields, craters and forests, much of it inside a regional park. Visitors hike around the older craters, ski on its upper flanks in winter and reach higher parts by cable car and guided routes.
